As had been the case with Egypt, my visit to my Greece came at a time when most mainstream media recommended that people stay out of Greece — and just as I found in Egypt, the “chaos” that had reportedly engulfed Greece was tucked away to inconspicuous, barely-visible reaches of Athens, it’s underrated capital city. Even if you only go for idyllic islands like Mykonos, Greece is absolutely worth your time and money.
