Georgia: The Country, Not the State

Writing about Georgia is always difficult, especially with American audiences.

Visiting Georgia’s high-altitude paradise Kazbegi is about a lot more than basking in the glory of the fifth-tallest mountain in Europe

I can’t really speak about Azerbaijan as a whole, but Baku is an interesting city to visit

Spending three days in Tbilisi provided an alluring introduction to my larger Caucasus trip, even if it was ultimately anticlimactic

I can’t fully answer the question of whether or not Armenia is worth a visit.

I hope these photos make you want to visit the Caucasus but more than that, I hope they convey to you the transformation being here manifested in me.
